South Asia

We are learning about South Asia. We are learning about Mount Everest, the tallest Mountain in the world. The Countries in South Asia are India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, the Maldives Islands, and Sri Lanka. The Main Rivers are the Ganges river, the Indus river, the Krishna river, and the Brahmaputra river. The Major Mountain Ranges are the Himilayas and the Hindu Kusk. The major religon is Islam. Some of the geographic features include the Deccan Plateau, the Eastern Ghats, the Western Ghats, and the Indo-Gangetic Plateau. India has alot of problems because of the wide variety of ethnic groups.
